History

Established in 1956, the original St. Peter's building was destroyed by fire in April, 1972.

Windows

The symbols of our faith, the people of St. Peter’s, our northern environment and peoples are reflected in the stained glass windows in the church.

Artwork

Artist Leland Bell's beautiful painting "The Promise of New Life" is featured prominently in our sanctuary.

Labyrinth

To celebrate our 50th Anniversary in 2006, St. Peter's members constructed a full-scale labyrinth at Sudbury's Lourdes Grotto in June 2007.

St. Peter’s United Church has been carrying out the ministry of Jesus Christ for many years.
This rich faith inheritance out of which we all live was made possible by the faithful witness and generosity of those who
