Scouts and Guides Midweek Programs

MidWeekGroups

Our congregation is pleased to sponsor midweek programs of the Scouts and Guides through provision of space and resources and a program of involving groups in church activities including an annual Earth Day and Camping group service each spring.

2nd Lockerby Girl Guides

Programs include themes of working co-operatively and communication and opportunities to help with activities in the Sudbury community. Spring and fall camping, sleep-overs and assistance with the St. Peter’s Shrove Tuesday pancake supper and the annual service are regular features as well.

15th Sudbury Scouts

scoutsThe Scouting program includes three groups - Beavers, Cubs and Scouts - which meet separately through the week. The groups follow the new Canadian Path national Scouting program introduced in 2016, which modernizes of the traditions of Scouting providing new opportunities for the groups.

Each group participates in camping activities throughout the year at local facilities.  All three groups attend and contribute to the annual Earth Day and Camping Service at St. Peter's each spring.  As well, an annual fundraising tea is held at the church in December.
